Dollop & Scoff is my one woman business that has been on the go since 2014.
The fruit I use is from local producers, and sometimes I pick the fruit myself. It’s a good feeling knowing exactly what is going into my preserves, and giving that part of the story when I meet customers at the markets I regularly attend.
As I make everything in small batches, there can be variances in the flavours and textures from one jar to the next. I like these slight differences which keeps the cooking and tasting interesting.
When starting the business I was clear that all my products had to be of the highest quality. I’ve kept with my family recipes which means simple, natural ingredients, and traditional cooking techniques. Yes, it does take more time and expense to make, but I’m sure you’ll agree the taste is worth it.
